Asked by Rey May 26, 2016 at 12:23 PM about the 1999 Lexus GS

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Took my car to a certified mechanic to do
breaks, engine mount, tranny mount,
p/s, spark plugs.... A regular tune up!
When done I was told alternator went out
because of a oil leak from my p/s pump....
Ok replace that!  When they finish built
and started car it started burning a 120v
fuse...   Next step take car to an
electrical mechanic... Found out the new
alternator came with a loose bolt not
doing correct ground... They fixe that!! Car
was doing great!!! 1-2 weeks later leave
my car with hazards on for over 1 hour
when turn car on all good until I start
driving I notice wiper blades run 1 time
with out me touching it + Dash Break light
turns on.... When I check my 120v fuse had
burn....  Had to take my car back to
the machanic.... Replaces alternator but
now is burning the fuses like a electric
lighter.... Car turns on but it will start to
burn the fuse... You can actually see it
turning red!   S.O.S. HELP! Alternator is
giving a charge of 13-14volt this car is all
electronic....

Thank you in advance for reading & giving
a helping hand!
