I have a 95 cougar and if i put the gas to the floor it just revs up wats wrong???

take it out of park

trans is out check your fluid when running in park

It's not in gear....... or, your transmission fell out!

You have the transmission gear in neutral. Try allowing the engine to finish its full rev then shift to D for drive. Good luck with that. ~ Lil Miss Lead Astray
