If you are looking for the factory code it in usually in the trunk on the passenger side trunk hinge, then you will have to check your owners manual to put your own code into place but the factory ode cannot be changed and will override any code that has been put in.

Kelly & Tennisshoes - Thank you for responding. We are wondering the cost to have code reset. We found the original code card and the sticker in the trunk. We tried the number and the interior light and light on key pad came on but the code did not unlock the door.

The key pad will light if you touch any number, but the dome light came on that should have unlocked the drivers door, do the electric locks work with the inside lock button? Try this: make sure you have you keys in hand, then push the 7/8 and 9/0 at the same time, you should hear the locks click into the lock position, wait a minute then put in the code you have and see if it unlocks the drivers door then, listen for any noise like a lock motor click, if you hear a click sound then press the 1/2 then the 3/4 and finally the 5/6 , if I remember right that should unlock the passenger door then the rear doors and then unlatch the trunk. If you don't hear a click then something maybe haywire with the control box and a unfortunately a dealer will have to check the system out, and that is usually what they call straight time to repair, so if it takes the tech 2 hours to check it out then you get charged the shop rate for 2 hours, so at a 100 bucks an hour would cost you 200 bucks, it can get expensive really fast. You might try some of the independant shops some may have the abality to do it. I know out here none of the independents will even look at a keyless entry system. HTH

Tennisshoes - thank you that was very helpful. Followed your instructions. The 7/8 and 9/0 locks all the doors so we know that it works. The code still doesn't unlock any doors though, not even a sound. Think we may have to go to a dealer and what it will cost. Thanks for your help.
