MY KEY WILL NOT GO INTO THE IGNITION ALL THE WAY SO MY KEY WILL NOT TURN. CAN YOU HELP ME?

I know Ford (who owns Mazda) had a problem with their key cylinders, not sure if your Tribute would be effected by that. I have heard of people using a rubber mallet or something similar to hit the key into the ignition and they swear by it.
