can you run a 2002 mazda tribute without the ac belt on

I think the ac motor has its own belt, can I run the tribute without the belt until I
can purchase a new one?

If A.C has its on belt separate from all the other accessories yes you can run vehicle.

If the A/C has it's own belt then no problem with removing the belt and driving the car. If something else is on the same belt with the A/C then no, it won't work.
