Left turn signals not flashing

Asked by billat93towncar Dec 29, 2013 at 04:27 PM about the 1993 Lincoln Town Car

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Left lower brake/turn light went out. Replaced bulb; now lights work but left turn still not flashing. Any idea what to check for this issue?

On the back of that car, there are either 2 or 3 bulbs, I forget which, and it depends on the year. If the right signal is working, I would put on the 4 way flashers, and compare the sides. You will likely see one more bulb out. Both sides are controlled by the same flasher unit, so if one side is working, it is not that.
