Radio failure with “check SD Memory Card”

Anybody have a radio/entertainment
failure on their 2017 Subaru
Crosstrek.  Radio cannot be turned
on and the screen shows “check SD
Memory Card”. See owners manual in
detail.

YES total fail, but its a 2014 and they said they have no way to replace or fix it. Basically I have an 8 year old vehicle built to handle the outdoor adventures yet it barely has 60K surface street driving on it. NO RADIO | NO BACK UP CAMERA | NO RESALE And they have no intentions of resolving this issue on their own!
