Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My fob to my car stopped working I bought a
universal fob and programmed it but car still
wont start. I think it has to do with the Pat's
and possibly the rain because it did this
before. Any ideas? I am so frustrated just
want to blow up this car!

I wanted to add that my dash light is out but battery light is on. It's got power cause it cranks. It just wont start.

If it has a factory remote start it will not work if a warning light is illuminated on the instrument panel. If it just won't start and the battery light is on I would suggest getting the battery tested and also have the alternator and associated wiring checked. It could have a charging system fault that is discharging the battery.

The battery is good, someone else said wiring too, I just k ow it has to do with that stupid Pat's.
