Question type: Car Customization

so i want to put neons on my car.. but i am unsure if its legal i dont care about tickets but i wanna get really
expensive and up to show style standard lights and i dont want to spend a bunch of money on something that isnt
street legal and end up having to take them off in a couple weeks or watver some ppl say that only certain colors
are illegal.. like emergency colors or raffic light colors such as (blue, green, red, yellow, white, orange,) so basically all
the good colors.. but others say that neons all together are illegal and will result in a ticket and your car to be
inspected after a period of time to ensure and prove the neons are removed

it all depends on your state laws. in ohio, you can have neons. but they cant go further than three feet or something like that from your car. i dont think there are any colors that are illegal. but i know they cant be over a certain brightness either.
