check engine light wont work i have checked the bulb
Maybe the plug in is not making a good connection where it hooks to dash assembly.
You'll need to have someone with a scan tool command the light on for testing purposes. You can also visit your local auto parts store and have it scanned. Most stores will do it for free. They won't be able to command the light on but they'll be able to tell you if there's a trouble code in the computer which would make the light be on. If there's been a trouble code in there for awhile the bulb could be burned out. If that's the case you may have to replace the entire instrument cluster to fix it. HTH. -Jim
