My low tire light keeps coming on, i get out and look around and check pressure in all tires and they are all the same. could the sensor be messed up?
around once a week i'll start my truck and there it is after i take off the low tire light
comes on so i go to the store to air up and i get out and check all tires but they are all the
same and i never know which one it is so i put air in all of them and the light stays on for
about an hour after. but if i dont put air in them it stays on.
Most likely is the sensors, you are close to the end of the battery life of the sensors. You might try a recalibration of the sensors, sometimes that helps for a while.
Most of the Name-Brand Tire Shops have an OTC TPMS tool that can read the tire sensors' frequency, battery condition, temperature and ID number. An advanced Scan tool can also read the sensors through the vehicle's OBD-II connector as well as the receivers and can reset the proper sensor ID to it's position on the vehicle.
