transmission oil chance
2003 honda pilot never change transmission oil, some advice should i do it now or never and just fill up,some people say it will give trouble because of sediments in transmission case.help
How many miles? I like the idea of changing the fluid. Up to 100K , sure. Over that and never changed, probably not. How long are you keep the vehicle? Doing a dump and fill with filter on some transmissions, maybe multiple times, is best vs a flush.
Atleast once a year you should change the transmission oil for sure.
The tranny in the pilot will already slip since it hasn't had service. You need to at least change the fluid but a flush would be best! You will have to use genuine honda transmission fluid straight from the dealer. That's the only place to purchase. But you will be amazed at the pull you get back after a change!
