What alarm goes off in 1999 Dodge Caravan to show air bag failure

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 1999 Dodge Caravan alarm is going off when stargted.  I thought it was a
seat belt issue as that was the last light to go off but it still rings after
disconnecting the cable under drivers seat?  Is the airbag wired into the ding
alarm system?

not wired to the bell ,it usually has a air bag light on, the seat belt wires may have to be connected to kill the ding ,try a jumper,

Thanks for your replys. I understand you to be suggesting that disconnecting the jack from where it plugs in and then cross the wires of the cable might correct the issue. Ill give it a shot tomorrow. Also wonder if that constant bell is indicating a blown fuse? Well have a good memorial day weekend. Ill let you know what happens. bobl@efn.org
