I just bought some 17" tires but my truck has 15" wheels I was going to just look for some 17" wheels but I can find any that are affordable.I would spend up to 450 for a set but I can find any.

Go to Discount Tire. They have wheels for under $100 bucks ea.

17's aren't a common stock size for a 1984 Chevy C/K 10. Shop for some custom wheels. You don't have to buy expensive aluminum mag type wheels go with steel wheels like white spoke or slotted.

Can't ??? You're not trying hard enough. Check all the wheel resorces.

Are the tires used? Don't go to a junk yard as you never know if they were involved in a collision and they may be weakened or damaged. If the tires are new, can you take them back as some tire stores like Americas tires, sell tire/rim sets as a discount. If they are used, use the suggestions above as they are great ones. A local "National" tire store will not rip you off. Ask them.
