Chevy CK 1500 5.7L I replace the Distributor the complete unit. The pickup coil check out good with the ohms meter but coil didn't look good to me itlook very old and the copper wire insulation was bad I installed a new distributor. The engine start and gas started to flow. Mike

Both times it happened to me it was wires or points in the distributor. I replaced icm both times with no luck and had to replace distributor and that solved it. Was extremely frustrating the first time, I changed absolutely everything that had to do with gas and spark. Don’t waste your time just get the damn distributor
