Simply unbolt the compressor and toss, along with hoses and condenser in front of radiator. But then you have to put an idler pulley in place of compressor. A shorter belt won't work because skipping a pulley either puts the ribbed side of belt on the wrong side of everything else, or spins it in opposite direction....that won't do..
