Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought replacement headlamps, but the original bolts are too short. I can't figure out what
size bolts these are. Could they be metric?

I tried that. There are four auto stores near me. A 1/4-28 is the closes fit, but does not work.

I found the metric M6-1.0 x 20mm flange bolts were the perfect size for the new headlamps.
