Battery ligh on on my 2001 Ford Expidition

Did notice battery guage running more towards the low side.

sounds like your alternator is kaput~ you'll have to exchange it for a new/rebuilt one~....also check the age of your battery, it can "go ripe" after 7 years and not accept the charge and force the alternator to do double duty~
