2002 overheating pt crusior
I have a 2002 p.t. crusior .water bubbling in overflow tank.temp went up to top. took to
garage.. they said they did a pressure test overnight and everything was fine. said a
tube was loose and tightened. two days later overheated again.temp went 2/3rds up.
took back again they actually stated they thought I was making it up!!! . I told them it
was dripping from below overflow tank in back of motor, they called and said there was
a hole IN radiator and leaking underneath (that is not where it was leaking) and I
needed a new radiator.. $450.00 later picked up car next day overheated again took
back again and they said the head gasket was blown and they "probably should have
checked I thought that was pressure test was for. bill to fix $1500.00. I M 63 YRS.
OLD. I was told I can't drive car and been forced to try to find ways to work. WHAT
HAPPENED I am pretty scared right now
Buy you some Bars Radiator and Head Gasket Leak Repair and follow directions on bottle can not % 100 guarantee you that it will work but I had a leak from the same place you described in your question and used this product and its been working for almost two years now. If for some reason it does not work do not add more hoping it will work that is when you can clog up your cooling system. Given your situation I believe its worth a try.
