should i get a new egine ? will it be able to handle the upgrades?
i have a 94 honda civic coup and I am going to do some performance upgrades.(i just got
into cars) I already decided on the air intake, fuel system, exhaust and ignition system. I
am new when it comes to doing car stuff. I may also need other upgrades but i really dont
want to have to get a new engine block. or the chassis and suspension
First thing that comes to my mind is, do you live in a state where you can do modifications to your car and still pass smog checks?
i live in California. I have no idea
I live in SoCal and it's not the place to be if you want to do performance upgrades. You'll most likely fail the initial visual inspection at the smog check. You need a pre '77 vehicle if you want to build a performance car and not worry about smog checks
i hope thats not entirely true
well im stuck with a slow car then :(
