The Civic Coupe LX comes standard with a four-speaker stereo, Bluetooth hands-free smartphone connectivity, USB input, and automatic climate control. Moving up to the LX-P adds push-button start, remote start, one-touch power moonroof, and automatic keyless entry.
The EX-T adds fog lights, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, and leather wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. For car buyers looking for even more leather, the EX-L provides full leather upholstery. It adds an auto-dimming rearview mirror as well.
The range-topping Touring trim features LED headlights, LED turn signals, chrome door handles, and a satellite-linked navigation system. The EX-T, EX-L, and Touring trims also come standard with the larger 7-inch infotainment display outfitted with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
The LX and LX-P trims come standard with a 2.0-liter inline-4 making 158 horsepower and 138 pound feet of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels through either a 6-speed manual or continuously variable transmission.
The EX-T, EX-L, and Touring come equipped with a turbocharged 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, putting out 174 hp. With the 6-speed manual, this engine makes 167 lb-ft of torque; with the CVT, it makes 162 lb-ft.
The base 2.0-liter engine with 6-speed manual returns fuel economy of 28 mpg city, 39 highway, and 32 combined. With the CVT, this engine returns 30, 39, and 34 combined.

Standard safety features include a full array of front and side impact airbags, reversing camera, tire pressure monitoring system, and vehicle stability assist with traction control.
The EX-T, EX-L, and Touring come with a camera facing the passenger-side blind spot. The camera is engaged when using the right turn signal or is driver activated. This makes for easier lane changes and parallel parking.
The range-topping Touring trim comes standard with a suite of high-tech safety features, including forward collision warning, lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control.

Averaging 34.2 mpg. Easy bluetooth connection to my phone. Great looking car and fun to drive. Remote start is a great feature. Coupe has plenty of legroom (Im 6-1). The only negative thing I can say is the car has some road noise. If I were in charge of this design team, I would give it a little more power without turbo and improve the stereo. Honda, bring back the coupe!

Comes nicely loaded, handles like a dream, with lots of power. Only thing I can say that I dislike is the chrome around the window, it doesnt fit in with the rest of the car. Only minor as far as Im concerned and its a preference thing for people.

If you find a listing below $16,705.76, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
Is the 2018 Honda Civic Coupe a good car?
Yes — owners give it 5/5, which points to very strong overall satisfaction.
The owner feedback highlights its performance, style, impressive gas mileage, handling, and power. You also see repeated praise for how fun it is to drive, which matters if you want a compact coupe that feels engaging rather than purely practical.
The main tradeoffs mentioned are road noise, tighter interior space for taller passengers, and a desire from some owners for a better sound system or more engine power. Even so, the overall sentiment is strongly positive, and 26.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.
Is the 2018 Honda Civic Coupe reliable?
Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
The owner summary also points to a car that many people describe as dependable and trouble-free over time, with strong confidence in its day-to-day usability. That kind of feedback matters because it suggests the car is one you can count on rather than one that tends to create recurring headaches.
For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about how each individual car was maintained and driven.
What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Honda Civic Coupe?
At 49.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage or repeated claims. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has been modified, has uneven panel gaps, or shows signs of cosmetic repair.
Focus your condition check on the body, paint consistency, tires, brakes, and interior wear, since those areas can reveal how the car was treated. If a listing looks especially cheap, make sure the lower price is explained by condition rather than hidden history.

If you find a listing below $16,705.76, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2018 Honda Civic Coupe's resale value?
The current average of $17,145 sits slightly below last year's $17,792.
That softer pricing can help you buy more carefully now, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited unless you choose a well-kept example. If you plan to sell later, condition and documentation will matter a lot, because buyers tend to pay more for cars with cleaner histories and stronger presentation.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2018 Honda Civic Coupe or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2018 if:
- 26.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- At 49.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 3.64% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of owner satisfaction, current pricing softness, and decent deal availability, the 2018 is a sensible primary choice. If you're especially price-sensitive, keep an eye on the lower end of the market and be willing to compare carefully against nearby years when you find a cleaner or better-priced example.
