can i use the parts such as starter, alternator, fuel pump, and etc., from a 2002 ford taurus on a2003 mercury sable. i read previous comments and its looks as though they are the same but just checking to make sure before i spend money thanks in advance

Yes as long as both vehicles use the same 3.0L engine. In those model years, you could have ordered a 3.0L DOHC or the OHV. The parts are different between the engines.
