96 cadillac eldorado defroster only working on passenger side

had a problem with my 1994 deville where we had WARM air on passenger side defrost and cool air on driver side and barely warm air at floor. Tried all the normal fixes and they did nothing. Turned out to be a plastic " T ' (top centre near firewall) - too much hot water was flowing out bottom of the T and therefore not enough hot water went thru to interior.
