1950 Ford F1 won't start electrical

Converted F1 years ago 12v. While driving engine stopped. Electrical due to all gauges don't work. Turn on key gauges not working. Press starter button, starter spins. Headlights and horn works. Could it be bad ignition switch?
Previous answer was incorrect stating compression, gas etc.

yes, new gas tank, gas lines fuel pump, carb. new points, plugs cond. and Dist. cap and rotor. New plug wires I checked the compression, that was good. Have spark at all the plugs. New coil, and have 6 volts from the ignition switch to the coil.
