Cylinder repair

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Dropped a valve on a TR6 2495cc, It destroyed the piston and gouged the
cylinder. Can I replace or repair the cylinder sleve?

If the gouge is not too deep, a machine shop can hone or bore all the cylinders, worst case scenario, and depending on the cylinder wall thickness, a cylinder might be sleeved. It's a call a reputable machine shop will have to make.
