where is the turbo filter location and how hard is it to change?
TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE, THERE IS NO FILTER FOR A TURBO. WHY WOULD THERE BE ? AIR AND FUEL FILTERS ARE NEEDED TO BE NEW. FRESH OIL IS CRITICAL TO KEEP TURBO OPERATION SMOOTH. OIL FILTER MUST ALSO BE NEW. THE HEAT GENERATED BY TURBO IS HARMFUL, TO OIL. BREAKS OIL DOWN , REQUIRES SOONER OIL CHANGES. KEEP OIL TOPPED OFF AT ALL TIMES, THIS IS A MACHINE, NOT JUST A GROCERY GETTER !
are u asking about the k&n air filter that is 9" long if u are it is rite in the front of the motor as soon as u pop the hood open u will see a black round air-mass sensor-go to your rite you might have te original tunnel set-up it would be in there, alot of guys took that peice out for bette, qwiker, peformance, and to get colder air to the turbo, your is a '87 buick grand national im assumiung, the air filter clamps rite onto the air-flow mass air sensor.
if your talking about your oil filter pop open hood loook under turbo its right there,at 10 ) clock postion. otherwise there is no other filters except trans filter, pcv valve in valve cover. the rest are breather element filtes for your oil u will find one in the front passenger soide head stuck right in the front of the head, or on te drivrs side there is a mesh air breather filter to,that u can also use to add oil into valve cover.,for motor.
