Ive been looking for some grand nationals for sale in los angeles. Are there any signs i should be looking for(besides the serial # on the dash plaque) to make sure th car is legit?
There are several things to look for. You need to do some research on GNTTYPE.ORG. Tons of info there. GNs do not have a numbered dash plaque. Only the GNX cars had that and they were 1-547. On the VIN number located on the left side of the dash, the 8th digit will be a 7 on 86-87 models. If it is an 84-85 it will be a 9. Make sure the RPO sticker (Regular Production Order) is there. If it is a GN it will have RPO WE2. It will have RPO LC2 which means it has the turbo engine. None should deviate from this. This should get you started. ;) Vicious6
