I have a 1971 Ford Torino VIN 1A35H142702. Is it valuable?
It's a middle-of-the-road Torino. If it had the 429 CJ it would be worth a lot more. As it is you have the 351 2V, with 2-barrel carb. Not the best engine in the Ford lineup, sort of an entry level V8. There isn't a huge collectible market for these, unless yours is in superb condition. When it comes to Torinos, collectors want the Telladegas or 429 super cobra jets cars. As far as value, try Haggertys, just look up ads for cars similar to yours.
Thanks for the info!! My father recently passed and he never wanted to part with the Torino as he thought it was valuable and always wanted to fix it up.
Hi- I tried to open the link you just sent but it failed. Would you mind resending? Thank you so much for your help!!
My bad - I said 'Haggerty' but I meant Hemmings; http://www.hemmings.com/
