For 2004, the Hyundai XG350 L gets an Infinity sound system and 12-spoke, 16-inch alloy wheels. Tweaks to the front end, air dam, bumpers, and new rounded foglights round out the changes for this year. As the top trim in the luxury sedan lineup, the 2004 XG350 L adds driver's memory settings, heated front seats, and a sunroof to the already well-outfitted front-wheel drive sedan. Other standard features include power front seats, power windows, locks, and heated mirrors, wheel-mounted cruise control, intermittent wipers, a trip computer, security system, keyless entry, garage opener, CD player, and the requisite leather upholstery and trim. Updated and lighter-colored wood interior accents add to the decor.
Powered by a 3.5-liter, 194-hp DOHC V6 and 5-speed manumatic transmission, the 2004 XG350 L rates highly for reliability and in crash tests, earning four and five stars. Dual front and front-side airbags join traction control, 4-wheel disc and ABS brakes, a four-wheel independent suspension, auto-dimming rearview mirror, automatic headlights, and foglights. Front legroom maxes at a comfortable 47 inches, while rear legroom is an average 37 inches. Rear seats split-fold, opening onto a 15 cubic foot trunk with standard cargo net. An 8-CD changer is optional. A perky engine eases acceleration, and the interior space is comfortable for four passengers to stretch out. Owners are amazed that you get so many features in the 2004 XG350 L without breaking your wallet. Headroom and fuel economy could be improved, and an automatic locking function would be a nice addition.
