In 1991, the Audi 200 quattro Turbo sedan gets an big engine boost not available in the four-wheel drive sedan. The 2.2-liter engine is now a 20-valve, 5-cylinder turbo reaching 217-hp, dispelling all doubts about whether the Audi 200 can truly be called a sports sedan. With the AWD quattro and 5-speed manual transmission, this little rocket is all about letting your hair down. Quality suspension, traction, ABS brakes, and light steering deliver optimal performance.
Added to the already standard power features (cruise control, power driver's seat with memory, power windows and locks, power heated mirrors) and elegant leather seats with lots of leg and headroom, the 1991 quattro turbo sedan adds more sporty items such as a trip computer and rear ski bag to keep the wet snow off the well appointed interior. The 1991 quattro sedan works wonders in the snow, better than many SUVs, say drivers. Its already amazing power can be boosted by installing a performance chip. Other highlights of the Audi 200 quattro include roominess, safety, a confident feel behind the wheel, and the durability of its materials. Drawbacks include problems with the electrical and hydraulic systems and the difficulty in finding a good mechanic.

There aren't any changes to the 1991 Audi 200 Turbo sedan from the previous year. This four-door family car that comes with Audi's trademark luxury interior is popular with drivers for its turbo kick and power and its sophisticated styling. A 2.2-liter, 5-cylinder turbocharged 162-hp engine still churns under the hood, paired with a 3-speed automatic. ABS brakes are standard.
While enjoying the improved acceleration and top speeds in the Audi 200 Turbo sedan, you'll be pampered inside with standard leather seats, power windows and locks, power sunroof, power-adjustable driver's seat with memory, and a premier audio system. The turbo in the 1991 Audi 200 is what sets it apart from the 100, and it shows in blasting acceleration. Accompanied with crisp steering and cornering, this family car packs in a lot of fun. It is also practical, and owners love the large trunk and ergonomic interior setup. Maintenance costs and some electrical problems are the only complaints.

Like the quattro sedan, the 1991 Audi 200 quattro turbo wagon receives the new 20-valve 2.2-liter, turbocharged, 217-hp engine. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard. Sitting on 15-inch wheels, the wagon is heavy, which means it feels sturdy and safe, yet it is surprisingly nimble and precise, cutting cleanly through snow and ice.
All the great features that Audi packs into the 200 are in the quattro wagon as well, including leather seats, power heated mirrors, cruise control, power sunroof, and dual power front seats. Add to this a rear spoiler. The ski bag is not standard, as the wagon provides ample storage in the cargo area. Drivers love how the Audi 200 never seems to age, particularly the hardy engine. Exterior and interior materials look as good as new. The interior ergonomics are also a big plus, as is the cargo capacity. As always, quattro performance outshines the competition. Biggest problem is surly Audi dealers and expensive repairs.
