Selling our Jeep was pretty easy, it too two attempts because we went out of town and the offer expired. If you’re interested in selling I suggest starting the process on a Thursday or Friday so you can do the things in your end over the weekend then the company will have the info Monday to look over and you can be done within that week.

Good experience

Process was smooth and faster. Mechanic come over to see the condition of the car after a week then after that $800 was reduced from the initial offer. Which I didn’t like but at the same time I didn’t want to keep my old car longer and didn’t have time to negotiate on that. So accepted the offer. One thing I would suggest if Car guru is changing the price from initial offer please provide the breakup of reduction mentioning why and cost details in email rather than just going over phone.

Overall the offer and sales experience was very good. The key opportunity to improve is a more thorough explanation of the process. I also felt that CarGurus were focused much more on the dealer(s) buying the car. First I had to take a number of photos and a video. Then a contracted fellow came and took a ton of photos - I guess to cover any concerns that the buyer might have. After signing the title away I was a bit nervous about the payment and was told it might take 12-14 days. This was frustrating. Within a day of the sale I received notice that the money was on its way. I think the process and communication could be tightened for a better experience.

The sale went well.

CarGuru paid a fair and acceptable price for my Honda. Everyone I dealt with treated me with respect and knowledge. They also responded in a timely matter. I have already recommended CarGuru to friends.

The process took longer than expected. But overall pleased with convenience.
