Overview
The Ford Focus ST was the first real push to move the rather sedate Focus five-door into the hot hatch segment. It debuted at the 2010 Paris Motor Show and arrived in the United States for the 2013 model year. Powered by an 2.0-liter turbocharged EcoBoost four cylinder, the car saw some immediate fan involvement with over 2,000 preorders by the end of June 2012. Ford reported that the Focus ST could hit 60 miles per hour in 6.1 seconds. The car underwent a facelift for the 2015 model year, and finally bowed out in 2018.

By the end of the run in 2018, the price had risen slightly to $25,170, with three basic preferred equipment packages that boosted the price with more equipment. One of the best vehicles in the sport compact class. Miles ahead of other cars in the class like the MAZDASPEED3, Volkswagen GTI, Honda Civic SI, Dodge Dart, and any other car in the FWD category. Fantastic ride, and a perfect choice for driving enthusiasts and manual fans alike.

Best car I have ever owned. One of the most fun cars I have ever driven. Great compromise on price, performance and economy. very reliable, would definitely purchase the new RS focus on the heels of owning the ST, if the new RS focus wasn't 40k+!!
