Changing The Stock Stereo On A O5

hey can anyone help me. i have an 05 and just got a new head unit. i can usually figure out how to install them. however with the element it is not very clear. can any one help me in this matter

Outside Temperature Gauge

There is obviously not an outside temperature gauge, which I think is a huge oversight on the part of Honda, but has anybody figured out whether there is a simple-to-install, aftermarket option?
