The car was sitting for a couple of months without being started, I assumed it was the battery and attempted a jump, but the car will not crank instead it clicks. New battery maybe?

Car is at steady rpm then jumps. When accelerating. But then shifts smooth. Could this be it needs flushed, too much fluid, or it going out?
