Worst experience ever. Started with a sales rep not calling me back after I submitted my application to my havingto call back numerous times & was even at one point lied to by a lady stating that it takes 24 hours to get a credit report back. She said this right telling me that she “never lies to a customer.” Finally spoke with Desiree but they waited until 10 minutes before closing that I was approved. I had informed everyone I spoke with I needed to make a purchase THAT DAY (Saturday) when I started at 1pm. The next day they were opened (Monday) no number for TAD was working. I called every number I had including off the websites. Every call failed. Worst experience ever.

I waited about 40 minutes or longer before the car was brought to the front. Ola never came so they had to get Bernard. He was helpful. The car was damaged so I did not buy it

I was so excited to buy my new car and when I was ready to finance, they told me that the car did not pass a water flooding inspection and that the car can't be sold to me. It was an extremely inconvenient ordeal.

The did not have the vehicle. I test drove another color to see if it was even the route I wanted to go. I was satisfied with the vehicle so we located another one on Dallas. They supposedly do not except a deposit to have the vehicle transported. I gave in ran credit check etc. and I was approved. I Never heard back. I texted the sales person I called the loan officer numerous times. To this day I have not heard back. I wouldn't waste my time.

Dealer told me the car is in excellent condition and everything. Didn't offer any discount no problem I was ready to buy it still. Drove 3 hours to the dealership turns out the condition of the vehicle is literally crap. It had gum on one of the seats had a burned mark on the 3rd row seat very dirty inside. Said it was detailed, but that surely didn't seem like a true statement. The lift gate had extremely noticeable scuffs on the top that wouldn't go away unless u painted the entire lift gate. Very sad myself abt not buy the car, but I think I made a wise decision. Also the sales associate didn't even bother to help all he said was do u want it or u don't and I said no and he simply just walked inside.

This 2017 Expedition limted 4WD vehicle has multiple sctatches and the clear coat shows brush marks all the way around the vehicle. It also has several scuff marks from bumping other vehicles. I specifically asked the salesman about any scratches and flaws and was told there were none. So I secured financing and drove 2 hours to buy this truck only to find it was severely scratched and the interior was not clean either. What eles have they failed to mention?The salesman at the dealership offered to show me another vehicle, but after being mislead the first time I do not trust anything Texas Direct Auto is selling. This is a high volume dealership that does not care about customer service. I wasted a considerable amount of time and was very dissapointed.

The salesman who contacted me was just interested on my anual income n if i would pay the car in full onece he realice that i was looking towards finacing n even agree pay a down payment between 3 to 4 k, his attitude change n did not walk me or help me through the process , Does people like him represent bmw ?

After I purchase my car. Had a really had time communicating with anyone. Couldn't get the date of car delivery. Dealership confirming that you went through hundred percent inspection everything was good. Exclamation I got the car I had to change the brakes to patch the rotors because they were metal to metal.Car delivered four days late . Don't feel comfortable buying another car

Just received our "new" vehicle via transport this morning. We LOVE it! The entire process from start to finish was fantastic with TDA! Our sales person (LaDonya) and Finance Manager (Ryan) were great to deal with, and processed everything efficiently. We were a little nervous purchasing a vehicle from an out-of-state dealer, however the vehicle was in excellent condition when we received it at our doorstep, and we would HIGHLY recommend TDA to anyone looking for a great deal on a vehicle! I spoke with an individual from Texas Auto Direct about a Chevy Van, he said he could come down on the price $1,000. I spoke with another individual about another vehicle and he said all their prices were non-negotiable. Contradicting stories from 2 different salesman.

On first contact I asked "does this car have adaptive cruise control?" She responded that she did not know but would find out and call me back. I told her that no adaptive cruise would be a deal breaker. She called me back assuring me that the car did in fact have adaptive cruise control. I took off of work to go look at it and when I checked the for adaptive it was not there. I was told that she thought it had it. Wasted my time.

not a very good experience at all. I chatted with their on-line representative at 11 am last Saturday, he said if I wanted to stop over at their Stafford, TX location to let him know and he would get the car ready for me to test drive. So then at 2 pm I sent him a text and told him that my wife and I were going to head over. He said ":great" I will have the car ready for you. So I arrive and wait a short bit for Joe and then he tries to pull it up on the computer and "NO Car with this id number is available, so he says wait a moment and I will go check. He comes back and says that someone put down $500 on it in the last 15 minutes and that if I wanted to hang around for another 15 minutes, they could check to see if he cleared credit. Now I know you all move a lot of cars, but I would expect that if I contacted a salesman and he knew I was driving over 40 minutes to the dealership that he would have checked to make sure the car was available at that moment and not waste my time of driving over 40 minutes and then 40 minutes back. He was very cordial, but rest assured this was not a happy camper, then I hear the spiel that we cannot hold cars for any length of time and we also move upwards of 200 cars per day. Not a good reply back to a customer, so yes, I left with sour taste in my mouth. Perhaps, one should think about a process to ensure the customer is treated as a customer as this type of treatment should not occur, even if it means that a car would be held and not sold for 1 hour.

Poor. When I spoke with representative, I said I was interested but they were overpriced (per CarGurus and KBB). They told me they were not. A week later they dropped the price $1,000 and it is still on the market. Their loss... I moved on and closed the deal elsewhere. My advise, don't deal with arrogant or pushing sales people.

Watch out! As soon as you show interest and they contact you, they take the automobile out of the search but keep emailing you and tell that it is there and they will have it ready for a test drive for you. I drove all the way out to the dealership in Stafford from Clear Lake, only for the person that emailed me to tell me that "someone put a deposit down on it just that morning". Yeah right... I noticed that it had been removed from the search the afternoon before, but he was still emailing me saying that it was there. Then tries to tell me that they have other automobiles for me to check out. THANKS BUT NO THANKS! Wasted my time and gas just to try and get me in the door! Not to be trusted!! I've noticed that this happens often on the car web site as well...

They have overpriced car's and there not willing to make a deal. I'm talking about 7k or higher in overpricment. Salesman called me and when I asked if they can possibly make a deal since everyone else in the market has the same car for 7k less, he said "no we will not lower the price, the price is firm " so I said thank you and good bye.

My salesman Bryan H. was most accommodating and very professional. He simply outstanding and I would refer my family and friends to him. Everyone was friendly and offered to help me with every step of the buying process from the greeters to the finance people. If I could offer one suggestion it would be that some of the staff at the front desk should remember this might be our first time there so a friendly and helpful voice would go a long way.

B E C A R F U L ! ! ! with this dealer...... Check paperwork closely. After a lot emails we make an agreement about the price, at the moment to finish the deal paperwork didn't match with was agreed before the sales person did not keep the value agreed thru the emails. Big disappointed after that they took one week to return my $500 dollar deposit. No serious people!!!!! Be aware.....

I purchased the Audi A4 at a fair price. There was a small cracking in the front window. When they try to fix it, they cracked it more. Was given a $225 dollar check to take elsewhere to repair. However, I had to wait a month to receive check. I had to call several times to finally get this money. Fixing the window costs $510.00 dollars and that was for an aftermarket window. Needless to say, I was not happy.

Prompt returned calls but they were not willing to go down on price at all. Even when the price of the vehicle was way over NADA price. They tried to tell me that it was under that price but I looked myself and had a GM friend look and it was way over priced. It was also shown to be a rental car previously. Which they did not mention. They claimed that they were "good people" and wouldn't try to pull on over on me. But apparently they are shady characters and not looking to make a sale.

I was convinced that she was truthful and I decided to purchased a vehicle. We formally met Ro on June 30, 2016 and she made buying a vehicle a pleasant experience. Ro who proceeded to take us through one of the most pleasant and informative car buying experiences I can remember. It's all too common to run into obnoxious car sales consultants who only want to get your signature and their commission as fast as possible. Too many vehicles are being handle there and are not completely checked for damage before being offered to customers. I drove over 3 hrs to be disappointed with car that was presented to me. It had dents and scratches on it that was quite dissapointing for a car with only 5,000 miles. They had more automobiles to offer,but first impression is always the way to win my business.

I purchased from this dealer. After a nationwide search, they had the best value on the low mileage unmolested car i was looking for. They weren't very flexible on the price, but they knew what they had, and they didn't have to be. Car is currently in transport, and i cant wait for it to get here.

They asked if my wife would submit, I asked if it would help, they said yes. My wife agreed and filled application for finance. They called to ask if she did, my wife responded yes. I had to call them because they did not answer the email contact for several days. We would have gone to look at the Expedition but we had a couple of concerns on the AutoCheck. The questions were addressed and a question to have our mechanic check the truck out. For $500.00, we could take the truck off the lot - refundable if the mechanic found anything wrong and if not could be applied to the cost of the truck. We refused. Then the push began to put down $500.00 to hold the truck. Again, we refused. The promise was made to refund the $500.00 if we did not like the truck. Could be done over the phone. We graciously refused and decided this was not the kind of dealership we wanted to engage.

Overall good buying experience. Quick with paperwork. Salesperson not very responsive or quick to reply to emails or texts. I do understand, I'm not the only customer but I expect texts or emails responded to within the hour or half hour. They were true to their word about fixing or repairing any issues in the car. Reputable dealership with quality vehicles in my conclusion. Although a small matter, did not get a full tank of gas - was told that "Texas Direct doesn't do that". Surely the expense would have to come from the salesperson? Told that "they only made $100 per vehicle in commission..I don't really believe that but haggling for $40 after buying a $33,000 vehicle? Even had a 15 minute conversation about a full tank of premium gas .... really? Asked for photos of my vehicle prior to loading for transport to my state - never got them. I didn't need them after all but ....... I changed the oil personally this weekend and found the oil to be dirty enough that it seemed that the oil had not been changed prior to sale. I would recommend Texas Direct Auto based on quality of vehicle I bought and fast paperwork. Just ask for the "little stuff" early and get a commitment.

Beware! They charge $500 to test drive! If you can prove there is something wrong with the car will they consider giving you the $500 back. Seriously? Poor, judgemental and conceited service - to assume the customer is there just for a joyride is sad. Fortunately I was able to drive to Garnet Motorcars and buy my Porche. Word of advice to Texas Auto Direct from one who is in the business of high end real estate - get off your high horse and treat customers as valued customers and with respect! Someone who has chosen YOU to spend thier hard earned with. Because, customers always have another option!

Car salesman was most unwilling to offer help or assistance. Was more interested in getting my credit card number than addressing my questions or concerns. The trade in offer for my vehicle was insulting as was the counter offer. The most helpful person involved was the fellow who checked out the car with me prior to my leaving the lot. He patiently explained and demonstrated all the features and answered all my questions. He would not let me leave until I was satisfied.

My sales guy was great. This place does things in a unique way. I bought a BMW 335i from them. Not sure how good their car inspections are because they don't reveal the information in an organized and concise way in comparison the point inspection list that I get from someone like Sewell or Audi West. The good aspects are that you can test drive a bunch of used cars against each other in one place, the prices are right, and the experience doesn't get so personal and emotional like in the average dealership (and I loathe that high pressure, psychotic experience). These guys didn't get in my face. Then I went to finance and they were trying to sell me a warranty that has terrible reviews on the web from about 98% of the people posting. They also tried to give me a horrible interest rate. The sales experience was nice but the finance experience wasn't, and their seems to be a general lack of organization, but I would rather work in a low pressure situation when I'm purchasing a car, and I buy only used cars, so I would return. I would advise anyone to step back before purchasing and work out your warranty and finances elsewhere. Then you will get the best in all areas.

I asked a question about this vehicle with my email and phone number which have to be listed. I received a call while at work. I informed the caller to respond by email. No one has responded in more than a week now. I think that the caller was a pressure type salesman, which does not work with me.

This first comment is intended for all car dealers...A car buying experience should be fun, companies should want to negotiate car prices, instead they all wish to be like CarMax. The haggle free experience does not allow a possible buyer to negotiate that does not allow for a decreased price. Honestly, who wants to buy a 2006 Ford Expedition that 96,000 plus miles for $17,000 dollars. Well it just does not make a whole lot of sense! This is what we as the people have created, the no negotiation style of buying a vehicle. So, if a dealership is going to have a no haggle zone, why have the vultures standing outside the dealership waiting to make a sale. If a dealership truly believes in making a deal then get rid of the vultures. With the sales reps standing near and eagerly waiting to make a sale, this represents the idea of a dealership wanting to negotiate a price. Several dealerships lost out on an opportunity to make a great deal in selling a vehicle. I sat down and compared prices for the particular car I wished to purchase. Since no dealership wished to bargain, my choice was clear to go with a vehicle with very few miles with a less cost. At Auto Direct, I found the car, however, they did not want to make a deal. During the purchase, the environment felt like a cattle hearding event, people pushed through a purchasing system, in and out lacking personal attention. So eager to sell a car but not eager enough to give that personal attention. After spending an uncountable amount of hours (I was not pushed through as fast as the other customers). I started the purchase around 1130 a.m. Did not get out until almost 7:00 p.m. because of the lack of attention. I could have walked out without buying the car, but the car had everything desired. The entire time of being there in Auto Direct, not one dealer offered me to have something to drink or offered a little bite to eat. Buy 7:00 p.m., I was extremely tired, hungry, and thirsty. Most of all I was thirsty to get the heck out of there. There will not be a next time, there will not be another possibility of buying another car in this state. My next purchase will be made out of state with a dealer who will want to negotiate a price. Then to top it all off...at a nearby Toyota dealer, a vulture sales rep tried to sell me a Honda that was missing external body parts for an ungodly price, I laughed at the vulture and told him to get lost. Never returned! So, to everyone who wants to pay a no haggle price, go ahead and throw your hard earned dollars out the door! Behavior can change if we as a society create the change!

Sales rep and finance was very good....but when I took delivery of the Yukon the man knew NOTHING about the vehicle. A light came on the control; panel and he said He wasn"t sure what it meant and I would have to take it to a dealer and have it checked out. No owners manuals with vehicle. Exterior clean was poor, dirt and bugs on front of vehicle.

Everyone was very nice & helpful, but they dropped the ball at the last minute. Everytinh was going great until we went to test drive and pickup the car. I had taken off work and they had me wait outside for 45 minutes until I was forced to retuen to work. My wife continued to wait even longer. She finally purchased the car. It is the first time I had ever purchased a car without ever laying eyes on it or test driving beforehand. I was tempted to tear the check up. I am looking for another car for me, but Direct has lost my business.

They kept asking for me to make a deposit of $500 on the car just in case someone else wanted to buy it. I didn't of course, I stated that if it's there, it's there! If it's not it's not. I let the sale person know that I had outside finacing and he stated that I needed to contact them and have them ready so I wouldn't be waiting hours when I got there. He wanted to fax the credit union the purchase order in advance so it would basically be mine. I stated that I hadn't even seen the car yet, and he said I'm just trying to save you time. If you don't want the car, don't sign anything when you get here. (FYI) Just be aware that you will not get your deposit back if you make one, it will be applied to another vehicle. Wait, didn't I pay the deposit to hold the vehicle for me, well it sold! Then here comes the same make, same model car around the corner. Different mileage, different color? Either find a vehicle there or lose your deposit.

This is a shady dealership, I contacted them to buy a car I saw, sent them all of the necessary papers for my loan, talked with them, they told me what my payment was, when I called 15 minutes later to give my deposit, they said they sold it to someone who just walked in the door. I had been dealing with them for days, did the loan, and because they could get a little more money, they sold it out from under me..This was the worst experience, and even after speaking to the manager, they did nothing..They only care about money!!!7

Excellent customer service!! The staff is very professional and treats customers as if they are the only ones there. I would refer this company to every one I know. Even the financing was pain-free thanks to Cedric, the Financial Officer. He was very patient and helpful. He made us feel like we had a million dollars to spend.
