Used 2024 Toyota Sequoia for Sale nearAlexandria, VA

How much does the 2024 Toyota Sequoia cost?

Prices have softened 8.50% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,354 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2024 Toyota Sequoia a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Toyota Sequoia earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 10/10.

The Sequoia’s appeal starts with its standard hybrid powertrain, which brings improved fuel economy along with stronger towing and hauling ability. It also comes across as well equipped from the start, with standard advanced safety features and easy-to-use technology.

The main trade-offs are space-related: the third row is cramped and cargo room is limited for the class. That makes it a better fit if you value towing strength, efficiency, and standard equipment more than maximum passenger and luggage space.

Only 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is selective rather than especially bargain-heavy.

Is the 2024 Toyota Sequoia reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Sequoia’s reliability case is helped by Toyota’s reputation for long-term durability and by the fact that it uses a standard hybrid setup rather than a more complex optional powertrain. The expert review also points to a smooth-operating 10-speed automatic and a powertrain that feels more powerful than the previous V8 model while still sounding pleasant.

Toyota’s three-year/36,000-mile comprehensive warranty and five-year/60,000-mile powertrain coverage add some ownership reassurance. For used buyers, the biggest long-term risk is less about mechanical drama and more about living with the Sequoia’s tight third row and limited cargo space.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Toyota Sequoia?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

Even with a strong share of accident-free listings, you should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection. Focus especially on how the cabin and cargo area fit your needs, since the Sequoia’s packaging compromises are a major part of the ownership experience.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base SR5 uses fabric seating surfaces, while higher trims add more upscale materials such as SofTex, leather, or semi-aniline leather. The base trim also misses some of the richer presentation found higher up the range, so check whether you want the more premium feel before you buy.
• Powertrain: Every 2024 Sequoia uses Toyota’s iForce MAX hybrid setup with a twin-turbo V6 and electric motor. It delivers 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque, and it is rated at 20 mpg combined with 4WD.
• Safety package: Every trim gets Toyota Safety Sense 2.5, including pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane-departure alert with steering assist, adaptive cruise control, road-sign recognition, front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and Trailer Merge Warning. The Tow Technology Package adds a digital rearview mirror and trailer backup guide with Straight-Path Assist.
• Infotainment: Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. SR5 uses an 8-inch touchscreen, while every other trim gets a 14-inch center touchscreen. The system is easy to use, and the Panoramic View monitor is standard.
• Fuel efficiency: The Sequoia is rated at 20 mpg combined with 4WD.

Which 2024 Toyota Sequoia trim should I buy?

The 2024 Toyota Sequoia is offered in 6 trim levels: SR5, Limited, Platinum, TRD Pro, Capstone, and TRD Off-Road package.

Here's the short version:

• SR5: This is the value play if you want the lowest entry price and the strongest towing capability, since the base trim is also where maximum towing capacity starts. It still gets the standard hybrid powertrain, Toyota Safety Sense 2.5, wireless smartphone integration, and the full suite of standard safety tech.
• Limited: This is the trim to consider if you want a more upscale daily driver without jumping all the way to the top end. It adds access to SofTex seating and can be paired with the Tow Technology Package, making it a practical middle ground.
• Platinum: This trim is the best-value upgrade if you want a more premium feel, since it brings leather seating, the panoramic moonroof, and available head-up display. It also gets the larger 14-inch touchscreen and can be equipped with the TRD Off-Road package.
• TRD Pro: Choose this if you want the most adventure-ready factory setup. It is the off-road-oriented trim, with 4WD, a skid plate, and a part-time system with 4Hi, 4Lo, and 2WD selection.
• Capstone: This is the luxury-focused choice, with semi-aniline leather, standard panoramic moonroof, standard head-up display, and standard JBL audio. It is the most upscale version in the lineup.
• TRD Off-Road package: This is not a separate trim, but it is worth considering if you want added trail hardware on SR5, Limited, or Platinum. It adds all-terrain tires, a skid plate, off-road suspension with Bilstein shocks, an electronic locking rear differential, and features like Crawl Control, Multi-Terrain Select, and hill-descent control.

Toyota makes safety features standard across the lineup, so you do not need to move up trims just to get the core driver-assistance suite.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Toyota Sequoia?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you should shop carefully and be ready to move when you find the right listing.

• Deal availability: 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,354 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.50% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $65,095, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Toyota Sequoia's resale value?

The current average of $65,095 sits slightly below last year's $71,140.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. For a future seller, that also means resale value may depend more on condition, mileage, and trim desirability than on broad market appreciation.

Because the Sequoia has strong standard equipment and a distinctive hybrid setup, well-kept examples should remain appealing to shoppers who want towing strength and efficiency in one package. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Toyota Sequoia safe?

The 2024 Toyota Sequoia has not been rated by IIHS or NHTSA.

It earns a 10/10 safety score from our experts.

Every trim gets Toyota Safety Sense 2.5, which includes a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane-departure alert with steering assist, adaptive cruise control, and road-sign recognition. You also get front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and Trailer Merge Warning as standard.

The main safety-related upgrade is the Tow Technology Package, which adds a digital rearview mirror and trailer backup guide with Straight-Path Assist. That package is standard on the higher three trims and available on SR5 and Limited.

Should I buy a 2024 Toyota Sequoia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.50% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 brings standard hybrid power, strong towing, and widely praised tech updates.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $60,399, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $65,095 average.
• It introduced the redesign and standard hybrid powertrain.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $70,584, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $65,095 average.
• It adds the 1794 Edition luxury model.

The bottom line: the 2024 is the best all-around pick if you want the strongest mix of standard equipment, hybrid efficiency, and market availability. If your budget is tighter, the 2023 is the value alternative; if you want a newer luxury angle, the 2025 is the step-up choice.
