How much does the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E cost?

Prices are up 1.05% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 2,042 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and prices.

Is the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Cost effectiveness.

It stands out as a sporty all-electric crossover that puts style and technology front and center, and Ford’s ongoing updates help it feel more refined than before. The 2024 lineup adds a new Rally trim and brings key upgrades to the rest of the range, which strengthens its appeal if you want an EV with a clear personality and room to grow after purchase.

The trade-offs are real: the ride can feel uncomfortably stiff, and the lack of physical buttons for climate control may frustrate you if you prefer direct controls. Even so, the combination of distinctive design, standard advanced safety features, and over-the-air update capability makes it a compelling choice for buyers who value ongoing improvement.

Good and great deals account for 36.8% of listings, which gives you a decent chance of finding a competitive price.

Is the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Ford’s continued updates and the model’s ongoing refinement point to a vehicle that has been actively improved rather than left static. The expert review also highlights that Ford plans to look after owners of earlier model years, which is a reassuring sign if you’re thinking about long-term ownership.

The Mach-E’s performance and technology focus suggest a modern EV that should feel current for a while, especially with over-the-air updates built in. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure the software, charging behavior, and battery condition have been well maintained and checked before you buy.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re comparing multiple trims or higher-mileage examples. Focus on overall condition, charging habits, and whether the vehicle has been used in a way that matches your needs.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup adds a new Rally trim for 2024, and the GT trim gets standard Ford Performance front seats, while the Rally carries those seats too with unique trim treatment. Base versions are more minimal inside, with the cabin centered around a large touchscreen and a narrow display above the steering wheel.
• Powertrain: Lower trims use a single-motor rear-wheel-drive setup, while GT and Rally are all-wheel drive. Ford says the new rear eMotor improves torque and range, and the GT Performance Upgrade raises torque output to 700 lb-ft without changing horsepower.
• Safety package: BlueCruise 1.3 is available on every 2024 Mustang Mach-E, and the Ford CoPilot 360 suite includes blind-spot information with cross-traffic alert, pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, evasive steering assist, automatic high beams, and adaptive cruise control. A 360-degree camera is also included.
• Infotainment: You get a 15.5-inch portrait touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and SYNC 4A with over-the-air update support.
• Range & charging: The standard-range battery is 72 kWh, and Ford says DC fast charging from 10 to 80% takes 32 minutes. The extended-range battery is 91 kWh, with a 10-to-80% time of about 36 minutes. EPA range varies by configuration, with the base single-motor setup at 250 miles, the Premium extended-range RWD version at 320 miles, the GT at 280 miles, and the Rally at 265 miles.
• Battery health: For a used EV, you should ask how often the car has been charged at home versus on DC fast chargers, review charging history if available, and confirm the battery still behaves normally in everyday use. You should also check how much of the battery warranty remains and look for signs of unusual range loss or charging inconsistency.

Which 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E trim should I buy?

The 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E is offered in 4 trim levels: Select, Premium, GT, Rally.

Here's the short version:

• Select: This is the entry point, and it makes the Mach-E’s core formula accessible with the standard rear-wheel-drive setup. It suits you if you want the lowest-cost way into the lineup and are comfortable with a simpler equipment mix.
• Premium: This is the best-value trim if you want the strongest blend of range and everyday usability, since the expert review points to it as the configuration with the longest available range. It’s the trim to target if you want the Mach-E experience without jumping into the sportier, pricier versions.
• GT: Choose this if you want the sharper performance character, standard Ford Performance front seats, MagneRide suspension, and Brembo front brake calipers. It’s the right fit if you care more about driving feel than maximum range.
• Rally: This is the most distinctive trim, with unique rally styling, a 1-inch lift, and suspension tuning meant to account for off-road use as well as road driving. It’s the one to buy if you want the most personality and the newest top-end treatment.

BlueCruise 1.3 is available on every trim, so safety and highway-driving assistance are not limited to the top versions.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to shop carefully but not so much that you should expect deep discounts everywhere.

• Deal availability: 36.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,042 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.05% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 90.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $30,275, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E's resale value?

The current average of $32,221 sits slightly above last year's $31,886.

That modest increase suggests the Mach-E is holding value reasonably well for a used EV, especially given its ongoing updates and strong market interest. If you buy well and keep the car in good condition, you should have a decent chance of preserving value better than a model with weaker demand.

The price trend also points to a market that still rewards the Mach-E’s mix of style, technology, and brand recognition. For a future seller, that means a clean, well-kept example should remain appealing to shoppers who want an EV with personality.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E safe?

The 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E earns a Top Safety Pick Award from IIHS, and it also earns five-star ratings in side crash and rollover testing from NHTSA.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

BlueCruise 1.3 is available on every 2024 Mustang Mach-E, and it includes enhanced lane-change assist, lane-centering, and in-lane positioning. The Ford CoPilot 360 suite adds a blind-spot information system with cross-traffic alert, pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, evasive steering assist, automatic high beams, and adaptive cruise control, plus a 360-degree camera.

That combination gives you a strong safety and driver-assistance package, especially if you want hands-free highway support on longer drives. The main caveat is that some of the most useful features are subscription-based after the trial period, so you should factor that into your ownership plan.

Should I buy a 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.05% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Ford adds a new Rally trim and key upgrades across the lineup this year.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $29,845, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $32,221 average.
• It offers a stylish electric crossover with strong performance, technology, and everyday utility.

The bottom line: If you want the most up-to-date version with the Rally trim and the latest improvements, the 2024 is the better pick. If your priority is saving money and you’re comfortable giving up the newest updates, the 2023 is the value play.

How does the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E compare to the 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV?

Expert Pros & Cons (per CarGurus review team)

2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E:

• Pros: Stylish design, Standard advanced safety features, OTA update and post-purchase upgrade capability.
• Cons: Uncomfortably stiff ride, Lacking physical buttons for climate control.

2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV:

• Pros: Great handling, Impressive technology, Available Super Cruise.
• Cons: Potentially polarizing design, No Apple CarPlay, Poor ride quality.

Our experts score the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E 8.5/10 and the 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV 6.3/10. The Mach-E looks like the stronger all-around choice if you want style, standard safety tech, and the ability to update and upgrade after purchase. The Blazer EV counters with available Super Cruise and strong tech, but its lack of Apple CarPlay and poor ride quality make it harder to recommend.
