You should still run a history report on any listing you’re serious about, even when the market looks clean. Focus especially on the cabin, cargo area, and overall mechanical condition if you plan to use it for outdoor trips or rougher roads.

What is the 2024 Ford Bronco Sport's resale value?

The current average of $26,437 sits slightly below last year's $28,636.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable entry point, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. For a future seller, the current trend suggests you should expect value retention to depend more on condition, mileage, and trim appeal than on broad market appreciation. The Bronco Sport’s distinctive personality and steady buyer interest can still support demand when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Ford Bronco Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.68% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $28,087, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $26,437 average.
• Ford adds new option packages and updates for more off-road capability.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2024 if you want the better value and a strong mix of style, practicality, and buyer interest. If you’re willing to pay more for updated off-road-focused packages and newer features, the 2025 is the better upgrade path. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2024 is the smarter starting point.
