The 2024 Ford Bronco Sport is a stout and versatile small sport utility vehicle that brings legitimate off-road skills to an affordable SUV format. ## What’s New for the 2024 Ford Bronco Sport For the 2024 model year, the Bronco Sport is available with the Free Wheeling package, as well as a new Black Appearance Package. Trims offered for the Bronco Sport include Big Bend, Heritage Outer Banks, and Badlands. ## Design The Free Wheeling package is inspired by a special edition of the same age from Ford models in the 1970s. This package boasts a retro-tastic sunset paint scheme and red-accented wheels. The Bronco Black Appearance Package features black finish on the grille, bumpers, and mirrors. In the cabin, the Black Appearance Package adds red and orange pin striping. ## Powertrain Most trims (Big Bend, Heritage, Free Wheeling, and Outer Banks) come equipped with a 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine. It makes 181 horsepower and 190 pound-feet of torque. The Badlands trim comes equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that puts out 250 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed to through an eight-speed automatic transmission to standard four-wheel drive (4WD). The base engine returns fuel economy of about 25 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. The 2.0-liter engine returns fuel economy of 21 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. ## Interior The Bronco Sport provides up to 65.2 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded. With the rear seats in use, the Bronco Sport offers 32.5 cubic feet of rear cargo space. The Big Bend trim comes with features such as push-button start, remote keyless entry, and dual-zone automatic climate control. Available features include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, wireless device charging, heated front seats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Other available features include leather upholstery, ambient cabin lighting, a universal garage door opener, a power-adjustable front passenger’s seat, and sport front seats. ## Technology The 2024 Bronco Sport comes standard with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also comes standard with multiple USB ports, navigation, and satellite radio. You can also get options such as HD radio and a 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen premium stereo system. ## Safety The Bronco Sport comes equipped with advanced driver-assistance features such as automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic high beams. Features such as traffic-sign recognition, stop-and-go adaptive cruise control, and lane-centering assist are all available on the Big Bend trim as part of a $1,285 Convenience Package. You can also get the CoPilot 360 partially autonomous highway-driving system as an option package. ## Pricing At the time of this writing, base MSRP for the 2024 Ford Bronco Sport is $31,230 for the Big Bend trim. The Heritage starts at $33,700, which is the same price as the Heritage Free Wheeling Edition. The Outer Banks starts at $35,915, and the range-topping Badlands starts at $38,390.
