Used 2023 Subaru Impreza for Sale nearAurora, IL

How much does the 2023 Subaru Impreza cost?

Prices have softened 8.53% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,446 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of used Imprezas to compare.

Is the 2023 Subaru Impreza a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2023 Subaru Impreza. The overview points to a practical all-weather compact car with standard all-wheel drive, which gives you an advantage in poor road conditions and makes it a sensible choice if you want year-round confidence. It also frames the Impreza as affordable and practical fun, so you get a car that can handle daily use without giving up an engaging personality. 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Subaru Impreza reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview suggests the Impreza’s reliability story is tied to its straightforward, practical mission: standard all-wheel drive, everyday usability, and a focus on function over flash. It also notes that many examples have been heavily used, abused, or modified, so condition matters a lot when you shop used. For long-term ownership, your biggest risk is buying a rough example that has been neglected or altered.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Subaru Impreza?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then inspect the car closely for signs of heavy use, abuse, or modification. The overview also points to a rough ride and cheap interior materials, so pay attention to suspension feel, cabin wear, and overall condition during the test drive. If a car looks unusually worn for its mileage, move on.

What is the 2023 Subaru Impreza's resale value?

The current average of $19,153 sits slightly below last year's $20,940.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable point, but it also suggests the model has already absorbed some depreciation. If you plan to resell later, your best protection is buying a clean, unmodified example and keeping it in strong condition. Cars with broad practical appeal tend to hold buyer interest better when they’re well cared for.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Subaru Impreza or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.53% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $22,675, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $19,153 average.
• It adds a revived RS trim for more driver excitement.

The bottom line: If you want the best value and a broad used-car pool, the 2023 is the stronger starting point. If you’re willing to pay more for a newer model with extra driver appeal, the 2024 is worth a look. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2023 gives you the better balance of cost, availability, and satisfaction.
