The owner feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience centered on comfort, space, and strong performance. That kind of response suggests you can count on it for everyday use, especially if you want a practical SUV that should hold up well over time. What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Honda Passport?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still review the history report carefully and confirm there are no gaps in maintenance or prior damage. Put the inspection focus on overall condition, especially interior wear, suspension feel, and any signs of rough use. Since this model is valued for comfort and utility, you want to make sure the specific vehicle still feels clean, tight, and well cared for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Honda Passport?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without waiting for a dramatic discount.

• Deal availability: 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,997 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.38% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $31,884, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Honda Passport's resale value?

The current average of $32,218 sits slightly below last year's $33,344.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle, but it also suggests resale values have eased compared with a year ago. If you plan to sell later, the Passport’s broad appeal should help, especially because shoppers tend to value its roomy cabin, strong performance, and practical layout. A well-kept example should remain easier to move than one with visible wear or a rough history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Honda Passport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.38% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $29,224, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $32,218 average.
• It adds a light restyle and TrailSport trim for a tougher look.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $35,257, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $32,218 average.
• It keeps the formula simple with refreshed tech and standard all-wheel drive.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the best all-around pick if you want the strongest mix of price, satisfaction, and available inventory. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2022 is the value play, while the 2024 makes sense if you want the newer refresh and are willing to pay more.
