Is the 2025 Honda Passport a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Honda Passport earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It stands out as a two-row midsize SUV that blends everyday practicality with a strong V6 powertrain and a roomy cabin. You also get seating for five, generous cargo space, and up to 5,000 pounds of towing capacity, so it fits well if you want more capability than a compact crossover without stepping up to a three-row SUV. The broad usefulness and standard all-wheel drive make it especially appealing if you value versatility over flash.

34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Honda Passport reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Passport’s appeal is tied to Honda’s reputation for reliability and the model’s practical, proven formula. It uses a strong V6 powertrain, offers standard all-wheel drive, and keeps the focus on everyday usefulness rather than complicated features. That combination usually makes ownership feel straightforward if you want a dependable midsize SUV with broad capability.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is paying for a well-liked model that may not come with deep discounts.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda Passport?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report to confirm the listing’s background and verify that the clean title story matches the paperwork. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or a vehicle that has been used for towing or rougher roads. Focus on overall condition, tire wear, brake feel, and signs of interior or cargo-area abuse, since those details matter most on a practical SUV like this.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Passport?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient.

• Deal availability: 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,567 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.16% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $37,469, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Passport's resale value?

The current average of $37,469 sits slightly below last year's $40,357.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to sell soon. Even so, the Passport’s broad usefulness, strong capability, and Honda name recognition should help it stay appealing to future shoppers. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in good condition, you should be in a reasonable position when it’s time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Passport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.16% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $35,442, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $37,469 average.
• It offers a familiar, practical formula with standard all-wheel drive.

Consider the 2026 if:

• At $46,883, the 2026 costs more than the current year's $37,469 average.
• It brings a redesigned, more rugged feel with a roomier, more modern cabin.

The bottom line:

The 2025 is the best all-around choice if you want a well-equipped Passport with strong satisfaction and a healthier used-car market than the newer redesign. If your priority is saving money, the 2024 is the smarter value play; if you want the newest design and can stretch your budget, the 2026 is the upgrade path.
