Is the 2025 Honda Passport a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Honda Passport earns a 5/5 user rating, and its overview points to a two-row midsize SUV that gives you strong everyday practicality, a roomy cabin, and useful towing capability. It seats five comfortably, offers generous cargo space, and gives you more capability than a compact crossover without pushing you into a three-row SUV. Standard all-wheel drive, broad usefulness, and refreshed 2025 updates make it a well-equipped choice if you want a versatile family SUV with a more capable feel. The market shows 36.9% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Honda Passport reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview also ties the Passport to Honda’s reputation for reliability, which supports its appeal as a practical used SUV. Its straightforward formula, standard all-wheel drive, and focus on everyday usability all point to a vehicle that should fit well into long-term ownership. For used buyers, the main risk is less about the concept and more about finding one that has been maintained well and hasn’t been worn down by heavy use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda Passport?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report so you can confirm the vehicle’s background and spot any hidden issues. Put inspection priority on the cabin, cargo area, tires, brakes, and signs of hard use, since the Passport’s usefulness can attract buyers who put on miles and carry gear. Focus on overall condition and maintenance records, especially if you’re considering one that has been used for towing or frequent family travel.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Passport?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,630 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.40% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $36,989, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Passport's resale value?

The current average of $36,989 sits slightly below last year's $39,946.

That price movement suggests the Passport has softened a bit in the current market, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, that also means resale performance will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. Because the Passport has broad usefulness and steady demand, a clean example should still attract shoppers when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Passport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.40% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $35,099, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $36,989 average.
• It offers a familiar, practical setup with proven technology and standard all-wheel drive.

Consider the 2026 if:

• At $46,704, the 2026 costs more than the current year's $36,989 average.
• It brings a redesigned, more rugged look with a roomier, more modern feel.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the best all-around choice if you want a well-equipped Passport with strong satisfaction and a softer price trend. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2024 is the smarter value play, while the 2026 makes sense only if you want the newer redesign and are willing to pay a premium.
