Yes — the 2023 Audi A5 earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview describes it as a stylish luxury car that blends sleek design with everyday usability, and it also highlights a polished interior, useful technology, and a balance of style and practicality. Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The overview also points to a strong safety record, including a Top Safety Pick award from the IIHS and a five-out-of-five-star rating from the NHTSA for the second-generation model. That combination suggests the A5 has the kind of ownership profile many used buyers want: premium feel, solid equipment, and reassuring safety credentials. For a used buyer, the main long-term risk is making sure the specific car has been maintained well and checked carefully for condition.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Audi A5?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 83% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still confirm the car’s history report and look closely at any signs of prior damage, even if the listing appears clean. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the body, interior, and electronics so you can judge overall condition, not just mileage or price. Because this model is positioned as a premium car, condition matters a lot when you compare similar listings.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Audi A5?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 36.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 171 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.28% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 83.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,411, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Audi A5's resale value?

The current average of $35,931 sits slightly below last year's $39,176.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can matter if you plan to sell later. A softer current price can help you buy at a more favorable entry point, but it may also mean resale gains are less likely in the near term. If you keep the car in strong condition and maintain it well, you should be better positioned when it is time to trade or sell. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Audi A5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 36.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 83% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.28% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 Audi A5 makes the most sense if you want a stylish, well-equipped luxury car and you value a better-used-price entry point than last year’s market. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby model years to see whether a similar car offers a lower asking price or a better deal share, but the 2023 remains the stronger pick when you want the best balance of value, satisfaction, and inventory.
