Used 2021 Audi A5 for SaleNationwide

Is the 2021 Audi A5 a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2021 Audi A5, and it fits a car that blends premium design with everyday usability. The A5’s appeal is strongest if you want a stylish luxury coupe with a polished look, an upscale cabin, and enough practicality to make it more than just a design statement. Its standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, and wood trim help it feel well equipped, while the broader A5 lineup gives you more flexibility than a pure coupe-only model. 37.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2021 Audi A5 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2021 A5 also benefits from a mature second-generation design and an updated powertrain, which helps it feel current and well sorted. Its main reliability-related advantage for used buyers is that it comes from a model year with a refined setup rather than an early-run version of the car. For long-term ownership, your biggest risk is buying a poorly maintained example, so condition and service history matter more than the badge alone.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Audi A5?

At 74.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was cosmetic or structural. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, with extra attention to body panels, paint consistency, tire wear, and signs of uneven repair work. Because this car’s appeal depends heavily on refinement, you should focus on overall condition as much as mileage or equipment.

Should I buy a 2021 Audi A5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 37.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 74.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2021 is the right pick if you want the updated powertrain, the premium cabin, and the A5’s style-first personality in a more modern second-generation package. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may still make sense, but you should compare condition and history closely because the best value will depend on the individual car rather than the model year alone.
