Why it stands out
The 2022 Toyota Tacoma has established itself as a leader in the midsize truck segment, primarily due to its outstanding reliability and off-road prowess. With a sturdy build that appeals to adventure seekers and a well-regarded resale value, it remains a popular option for buyers who want a vehicle that can handle rough terrains and daily commuting alike. The Tacoma has seen updates in its performance, particularly with the option of a powerful 3.5-liter V6 engine that delivers a commendable 278 horsepower. While its interior design might show signs of aging and may not cater to the highest tech standards, the Tacoma compensates with robustness and durability. Expert reviews note it features easy-to-use technology and an adaptable suspension system perfect for off-roading. However, potential buyers should consider its less-than-ideal rear seat space and the underwhelming performance of the base four-cylinder engine.

It has every feature I was looking for except BSM. Definitely a good value compared to others with the same opinions and miles. There really isnt any other models out there to compare it too. It is an awesome truck.

We have owned it 4 days. The Tacoma has great reviews and is very reliable. The V6 engine has enough power and still gets decent gas mileage.

I was specific about the features my Tacoma needed and this truck has them all. It would be nice to play some CDs but I have books on USB, so I can listen to those. Rust proofing is the only thing that I’ll need from a shop who does that. I’m enjoying the truck. I don’t know enough about other trucks to give a comparison. Thank you

It was in nice condition and low miles. But the I4 engine is horribly underpowered. And the lack of any back seats is not good. This is a very basic model - probably needs to be priced lower to sell.
