How much does the 2022 Dodge Durango cost?

There are 3,759 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2022 Dodge Durango a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Dodge Durango earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Reviewers consistently praise its powerful performance, smooth ride, and spacious interior, and they also like the stylish design and high-tech features. The Durango’s seven-seat layout and family-friendly utility make it a practical choice if you want a midsize SUV with more personality than the average three-row model. With 31.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Dodge Durango reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary also points to a vehicle that many owners find dependable in daily use, with praise centered on its smooth ride and strong overall ownership experience. At the same time, the model’s long-running design means you should pay close attention to maintenance records and condition, especially on higher-mileage examples. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is buying a neglected example rather than a well-kept one.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Dodge Durango?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 82% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then confirm the vehicle’s maintenance record and any prior damage claims. A pre-purchase inspection is especially important on a model with a broad range of trims and powertrains, because condition can vary a lot from one listing to the next. Focus on signs of wear, repair quality, and whether the vehicle has been kept up consistently.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Dodge Durango?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,759 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.45% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 82.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $29,879, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Dodge Durango's resale value?

The current average of $29,879 sits slightly below last year's $32,635.

That price movement suggests the Durango has become more accessible for buyers, which can help you enter ownership at a lower cost. For a future seller, the softer market means resale value may depend more heavily on condition, mileage, and trim appeal. Well-kept examples should still draw interest, but you should expect buyers to compare carefully against similarly priced SUVs.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Dodge Durango or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 82% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.45% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $26,373, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $29,879 average.
• It adds a powerful Hellcat option and Tow N Go appeal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $33,224, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $29,879 average.
• It adds standard heated seats and brings back the Hellcat.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the best all-around starting point if you want a strong mix of price, satisfaction, and available inventory. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2021 is the better value play; if you want the newest updates and are willing to pay more, the 2023 is the upgrade path.
