How much does the 2025 Dodge Durango cost?

There are 4,300 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for comparison shopping.

Is the 2025 Dodge Durango a good car?

The 2025 Dodge Durango earns a 7.2/10 from our experts, and its strongest category is Form and function at 9/10.

The standout strength is Form and function at 9/10.

It remains a likable midsize three-row SUV with a roomy, comfortable, and practical interior, plus a modern infotainment system. That makes it appealing if you want family-friendly space with a performance-oriented personality. The trade-offs are its unquenchable thirst for fuel and its basic package of safety features, and the crash-test performance is also a weak point. Even so, the model’s final-year setup still gives you a distinctive option if you value character and capability over modern polish.

The market shows 34.2% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Dodge Durango reliable?

The 2025 Dodge Durango is presented as an older design that has aged remarkably well, but its age still matters when you’re thinking about long-term ownership. The available powertrain lineup is straightforward, and the model’s practical interior and modern infotainment system help it feel current in daily use.

Its performance side is a major part of the appeal, especially if you want strong acceleration and a capable, comfortable three-row SUV. The cost-effectiveness commentary also points to genuine value in the GT and R/T, which matters if you want the Durango’s personality without stretching to the highest-performance versions.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that an older platform can mean more wear-related upkeep, so condition and maintenance history should matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Dodge Durango?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with performance-oriented equipment. Focus on overall condition, maintenance records, and whether the vehicle’s features and trim level match the price you’re being asked to pay.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes GT, R/T, and SRT Hellcat, and the base GT is the entry point with a V6 and rear-wheel drive. The GT is the most value-oriented choice if you want the Durango’s core space and tech without stepping into the pricier performance trims.
• Powertrain: The GT uses a 295-horsepower 3.6-liter V6, the R/T uses a 360-hp 5.7-liter V8, and the SRT Hellcat uses a 710-hp supercharged 6.2-liter V8. All use an eight-speed automatic, and AWD is optional on the GT but standard on the R/T and SRT Hellcat.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors. Adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, and front parking sensors are upgrades, so base-trim shoppers should check carefully for the features they want.
• Infotainment: Every 2025 Durango gets a 10.1-inch touchscreen with Uconnect 5, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and native navigation. It also includes wireless smartphone charging, dual-phone Bluetooth pairing, Alexa compatibility, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.
• Fuel efficiency: The SRT Hellcat is rated at 12/17/13 mpg in city/highway/combined driving.

Which 2025 Dodge Durango trim should I buy?

The 2025 Dodge Durango is offered in 3 trim levels: GT, R/T, SRT Hellcat.

Here's the short version:

• GT: This is the best-value trim if you want the Durango’s core strengths at the lowest entry point. It gives you the 295-horsepower V6, rear-wheel drive, and the full modern infotainment setup, while keeping the price and complexity more manageable than the V8 models.
• R/T: This is the step-up choice if you want more muscle and standard AWD. It adds the 360-hp V8 and a stronger performance focus, making it the better fit if you care more about power than keeping costs down.
• SRT Hellcat: This is the extreme-performance choice, with the 710-hp supercharged V8, full-time AWD, performance brakes, adaptive damping, and track-ready hardware. It suits you if you want the most dramatic Durango experience and are willing to accept the fuel-economy penalty.

The safety package is short by modern standards, and the available driver-assistance upgrades are worth checking carefully on any used example.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Dodge Durango?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,300 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.11% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $33,653, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Dodge Durango's resale value?

The current average of $33,653 sits slightly below last year's $42,659.

That price drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today. For a future seller, it means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on trim, condition, and how well the vehicle has been maintained.

Because the Durango is an older design with a strong enthusiast following, cleaner examples and better-equipped trims may hold up better than average. If you buy carefully now, you may be able to limit depreciation pain later.

Is the 2025 Dodge Durango safe?

The 2025 Dodge Durango earns a four-star overall rating from NHTSA, along with a three-star rollover resistance rating for AWD models.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard safety suite includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors. Available upgrades add adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, and front parking sensors.

The safety story is also shaped by its age, since the model’s crash-test performance is described as a concern in small-overlap frontal testing and its newer-evaluation coverage is limited. That means you should pay close attention to the exact equipment on any used example, especially if safety tech matters to you.

Should I buy a 2025 Dodge Durango or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.11% compared with last year.
• It’s the final-year version, and the expert review says it has aged remarkably well while still offering strong performance and a practical interior.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It keeps the same old-school appeal but is framed as an even older design with dated materials and weaker safety features.

The bottom line: If you want the better shopping environment and the final-year version of this SUV’s formula, the 2025 is the cleaner path. If you’re mainly price-sensitive and comfortable with the Durango’s age and compromises, you can keep an eye on later-year examples for similar character.
