Used 2021 GMC Yukon for Sale near Oklahoma

How much does the 2021 GMC Yukon cost?

Prices have softened 15.24% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,485 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2021 GMC Yukon a good car?

Yes — you’re looking at a 5/5 user-rated SUV with an expert rating of 7.7/10. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Technology, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise the luxurious feel, spacious interior, and impressive tech features. The ride is also described as extremely comfortable, and many owners say it stands out in its class.

The main trade-offs are a poor fuel economy and seats that some testers found uncomfortable, along with interior materials that feel cheap. For you, that means the Yukon makes the most sense if you want a large, upscale-feeling SUV with room to spare rather than a value-first commuter.

With 36.9% of listings priced as good or great deals, there’s enough market flexibility to shop selectively.

Is the 2021 GMC Yukon reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with owners especially appreciating the Yukon’s long-term appeal, spacious cabin, and premium-feeling tech. The expert review also emphasizes that the redesigned Yukon improves passenger space and cargo space while delivering a more comfortable ride and better handling.

The model’s technology and comfort upgrades support confidence in daily use, and the available maintenance-friendly ownership experience helps reduce hassle early on. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure prior use hasn’t worn down the seats, cabin materials, or fuel-sensitive powertrain.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 GMC Yukon?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 77.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the vehicle history carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper report. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on seat condition, cabin wear, and how the SUV drives over rough pavement. If you’re shopping a higher-trim example, make sure the added equipment works as expected and that the vehicle’s condition matches the asking price.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Yukon is offered in SLE, SLT, AT4, and Denali trim levels. The SLE is the entry point, while the Denali adds its own exclusive dashboard design, real wood trim, leather-wrapped panels, unique interior stitching and piping, and the Ultimate Package’s panoramic sunroof. The AT4 is aimed at off-road adventures with an improved approach angle, skid plates, and all-terrain tires.
• Powertrain: Three engines are available: a standard 355-horsepower 5.3-liter V8 on all but the Denali, a 420-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 standard in and exclusive to the Denali, and an optional 3.0-liter turbo-diesel inline six-cylinder for every Yukon except the AT4.
• Safety package: Standard features include forward collision warning, daytime pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking below 50 mph, automatic high-beam headlights, Teen Driver, a rear-seat reminder, and automatic crash response and crisis assistance through OnStar. Starting with SLT, you also get blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic warning, lane-departure warning, and lane-keeping assistance. Rear pedestrian alert is available for SLT and AT4 and standard on Denali, while adaptive cruise control and enhanced automatic emergency braking are reserved for Denali.
• Infotainment: Every 2021 Yukon gets a 10.2-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, Amazon Alexa integration, access to an extra-cost 4G LTE WiFi hotspot, GMC Connected Services, and over-the-air updates. Available upgrades include wireless device charging, navigation, a 14-speaker Bose Performance Series audio system, and rear-seat media with dual 12.6-inch touchscreens.
• Fuel efficiency: The 6.2-liter V8 with 4WD is EPA-rated at 14 mpg city, 19 highway, and 16 combined. In testing, it averaged 14.4 mpg on one loop and 16.2 mpg on another.

Which 2021 GMC Yukon trim should I buy?

The 2021 GMC Yukon is offered in 4 trim levels: SLE, SLT, AT4, and Denali.

Here's the short version:

• SLE: This is the starting point if you want the Yukon’s space, standard 10.2-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone integration, and core driver-assistance features without paying for extras. It makes sense if you want the most affordable path into the model.
• SLT: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic warning, lane-departure warning, and lane-keeping assistance. It’s the trim to target if you want a stronger mix of comfort, tech, and safety without jumping all the way to Denali pricing.
• AT4: Choose this if you want the off-road-focused version with an improved approach angle, skid plates, and all-terrain tires. It’s the right fit if your use case includes rougher terrain and you want the Yukon’s capability to match that.
• Denali: This is the luxury pick, with the exclusive dashboard design, real wood trim, leather-wrapped panels, unique stitching and piping, and the available Ultimate Package. It also gets rear pedestrian alert standard, plus adaptive cruise control and enhanced automatic emergency braking.

The safety package starts with solid standard equipment, but some advanced features are reserved for higher trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 GMC Yukon?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,485 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.24% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 77.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $40,983, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 GMC Yukon's resale value?

The current average of $40,983 sits slightly below last year's $48,350.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. If you plan to resell later, the current pricing gives you a lower entry point, but future value will still depend heavily on condition, mileage, and trim. Higher-spec examples with strong equipment and clean history should be easier to move than worn, heavily used trucks.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Rear pedestrian alert is available for SLT and AT4 and standard on Denali, while adaptive cruise control and enhanced automatic emergency braking are reserved for Denali.

Should I buy a 2021 GMC Yukon or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 77.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.24% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The redesign brings more passenger space, more cargo space, and a significant technology upgrade.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $45,927, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $40,983 average.
• It adds a standard 12-inch driver information center and enhanced connectivity.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2021 is the smarter buy because it delivers the redesign benefits at a lower average price. If you’re willing to pay more for newer tech and don’t mind the higher entry cost, the 2022 is the cleaner upgrade path.
