Used 2021 Chevrolet Blazer for Sale nearHolland, MI

How much does the 2021 Chevrolet Blazer cost?

Prices have softened 11.15% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,108 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2021 Chevrolet Blazer a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Chevrolet Blazer earns a 4.9/5 user rating and a 6.5/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Technology at 8/10.

Owners consistently praise its sporty look, responsive power, and driving enjoyment, and they also point to strong features that make it appealing for families. The Blazer’s style-first personality and easy-to-use tech fit buyers who want a crossover that feels more expressive than practical. On the downside, the interior materials feel cheap and the pricing can feel high relative to what you get. It also carries a poor value-for-money reputation, so it makes the most sense if design and driving feel matter more to you than cabin polish. Good and great deals account for 33.0% of listings, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2021 Chevrolet Blazer reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with drivers describing it as a vehicle they can count on over the long term. The performance notes also support that impression by emphasizing a strong, composed chassis and a drivetrain lineup that can feel confident when properly equipped. The first scheduled maintenance visit is on the house, which helps soften early ownership costs. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a neglected example could be more frustrating than rewarding, especially if prior care was inconsistent.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Chevrolet Blazer?

At 70% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. After that, prioritize a close inspection of the interior, transmission behavior, and overall condition, since the Blazer’s value depends heavily on how well it has been maintained. If you are comparing multiple listings, focus on the ones with cleaner histories and better equipment, because the right example can make the model’s strengths much easier to appreciate.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes L, LT, RS, and Premier, with the base trims missing some of the more desirable equipment and the lower trims also lacking the standard driver-assistance suite. The RS stands out for its sport-tuned suspension, brakes, and steering, while the Premier adds a more upscale presentation.
• Powertrain: The base 2.5-liter inline-four makes 193 horsepower and is described as underpowered and noisy. The 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder is the better everyday choice, while the 3.6-liter V6 on the RS is the strongest option and pairs with the Blazer’s sportier character.
• Safety package: Standard driver assists on most trims include forward automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-keep assist, and automatic high beams. These features are not standard on the L and 1LT, and the more advanced enhanced emergency braking is reserved for top trims with the Driver Confidence II package.
• Infotainment: Every Blazer gets an 8-inch touchscreen with Chevrolet Infotainment 3, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Plus version adds navigation with traffic, 4G WiFi, onboard apps, better voice recognition, and the ability to pair two phones.
• Fuel efficiency: The AWD V6 returns 19 mpg city, 26 mpg highway, and 21 mpg combined. The AWD turbo inline-four is rated at 22/27/24, which is better than the base engine’s setup.

Which 2021 Chevrolet Blazer trim should I buy?

The 2021 Chevrolet Blazer is offered in 4 trim levels: L, LT, RS, Premier.

Here's the short version:

• L: This is the entry point, but it is the least compelling choice because the base engine is weak and the equipment level is sparse. It makes sense only if your budget is extremely tight and you are willing to give up a lot.
• LT: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it gives you a more usable starting point without pushing you into the Blazer’s pricier upper end. If you want the model’s style and tech without overpaying, this is the trim to target.
• RS: This is the trim for you if you care most about the Blazer’s driving character. It adds the sport-tuned hardware and the strongest engine, making it the most engaging version.
• Premier: This is the most upscale choice, but the content still suggests you should buy it only if you specifically want the top-end presentation and are comfortable with the price.

The safety-package gap is important here: the standard driver-assistance suite is not included on the L and 1LT, so those trims deserve extra scrutiny.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Chevrolet Blazer?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,108 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.15% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 70.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $20,468, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Chevrolet Blazer's resale value?

The current average of $20,468 sits slightly below last year's $23,037.

That decline suggests the Blazer has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if prices stabilize. If you buy at the right number now, you may have less downside left than a shopper who paid closer to original market levels. The model’s style and strong owner satisfaction can help support demand, but its value-for-money reputation may keep resale gains modest. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Chevrolet Blazer safe?

The 2021 Blazer scored an overall five stars from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and in all three crash tests. The front passenger scored four stars in the frontal crash and the vehicle scored four stars in the rollover test. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) gave the Blazer top "Good" ratings in all crash tests, but "Marginal" and "Poor" ratings for headlights.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard driver-assistance suite includes forward automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-keep assist, and automatic high beams on most trims. The more advanced enhanced forward emergency braking is limited to top trims with the Driver Confidence II package. A driver's knee airbag is standard, but rear emergency braking is not offered. The headlight ratings are the main caveat to keep in mind.

Should I buy a 2021 Chevrolet Blazer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 70% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.15% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines strong styling with easy-to-use technology and good handling.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $23,024, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $20,468 average.
• It adds a more practical, pavement-focused package with five-seat utility.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2021 is the smarter buy because pricing has eased and inventory is healthy. If you are willing to spend more for a newer model year, the 2022 is the cleaner alternative, but price-sensitive buyers should focus on the 2021’s stronger market position.
